ADVENTURE UGANDA & TANZANIA (12 Days)

KED Safaris Uganda has made this safari as one of its stunning events. This safari will take you through the marvels of Uganda to the plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania. You will come to appreciate the greatest places for a safari any where in Africa. From the Murchison falls, the primates specifically Chimpanzees to the plains of Serengeti will offer a whole new experience. The following tour itinerary is the recommended one but could be tailor made suiting your requirements.

Day 1

Arrival Entebbe/Uganda On arrival at Entebbe Airport, our KED Safaris Uganda team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Kampala.

Day 2

In the morning we will Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park through the historical Luwero triangle enjoying the sceneries and lunch break in Masindi town. Through Kaniyo Pabidi head for the Top of the falls and marvel at the falls as you watch the sunset. Check in at Red chili Rest Camp for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3

Early morning, ferry cross the River Nile to the northern bank for game viewing and you may see elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hartebeests, giraffes and a heaven of antelopes. Here after you will proceed for a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile and up stream to the base of the falls. Along, crocodiles, hippos basking along the river banks, a variety of birds like fish eagles, cormorants, herons, king fishers among others may be seen.

Day 4

Chimpanzees in Kibale forest. Early morning after breakfast, drive through the Bunyoro kingdom have lunch break and then proceed arriving late afternoon. Have dinner and overnight at Rwenzori Guest house in Fort Portal town.

Day 5

In the morning you will have packed breakfast in order to catch up on time for chimpanzees tracking and other primates such as the black and white Colobus monkey. Chimpanzees are more closely related to humans than to any other living creature and they are tremendously funny to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees.

Day 6

Proceed early morning after breakfast to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese driving through the misty Mountain Rwenzori ranges on your right, and beautiful farm lands. Stop over at the Equator for photos and enjoy the scenery of Lakes Edward and George. Lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 7

Have an early morning game drive to the Kasenyi – the mating ground for the kobs may view lions in pursuit of their prey, buffaloes among others. Lunch break, then drive to Kampala at leisure may stop over at the Equator then at the drum making village in Mpigi. This route is gifted by wonderful souvenirs and nice fresh fruits at the road sides.

Day 8

You will leave Entebbe international airport for Arusha (Tanzania) Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and our our KED Safaris Uganda team will meet you and transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park (about 3hrs drive) and spend the afternoon viewing game. Have dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena.

Day 9

After early morning breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive in Lake manyara National Park and enroute, a variety of antelopes as well wildebeests, lions, buffaloes, elephants among others. After a lunch break, drive to Ngorongoro crater for an afternoon crater tour and photography. Retire late evening to octagon lodge, Simba Campsite, Serena Lodge, or Ngorongoro Crater Rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

Early morning head off for Ngorogoro Crater. Watch out closely because it’s at this time that game viewing is at its best and the crater floor is least crowded. Spend the morning game viewing in the crater with a hamper lunch. After lunch you may visit the local Masai community or alternatively engage in a nature guided walk. Have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 11

Early morning after breakfast, drive out of Ngorongoro while game viewing and have lunch. Have dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 12

Drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your flight home. At this point KED Safaris Uganda will wish you a safe journey and thank you for choosing it’s services.
